User Roles

User Roles

Users on Embold can have two types of roles. Administrative roles and general roles.

Administrative Roles

1. License Admin
   License admin has the following permissions:
   a. Buy a license
   b. Upgrade license
   c. And renew the license

2. Embold Admin( if you have set up embold instance or admin makes you admin)
   a. Manage users:
   1. Add new users
   2. Change user roles: make other user admin or organization admin
   3. Delete users
   b. Configure email
   c. Embold installation workflow
   d. Add organization: Custom and Github/Bitbucket

3. Organization Admin
   a. Add organization: Custom and Github/Bitbucket
   b. Add user to the organization
   c. Create a user group and give user permission

. User
Whenever a user has added he become normal user.

Note;

if you are just a user then you cannot make any changes.

How to manage user?

1. Add new user
a. invite by email
b. Github/Bitbucket
b1. Invite by Github/Bitbucket from inside the organization
2. Delete User
a. From admin section
b. Admin can only delete user
c. If the user is an organization admin and you want to delete this user then assign some other user as organization admin.
