Cloud License

As of now, we offer cloud hosted services only.

Embold Cloud is the quickest way to get started with Embold. Once you sign up on Embold (which is free) you are asked to add your organization(s) in Embold - where you can choose between Free and Premium plans. Currently, with Premium plan you can opt up to 1M lines of code.

Upgrade license

For Embold Cloud, 1 license is linked to 1 organization.

To upgrade or modify your existing license, go to Administration tab and find License section. By upgrading or modifying your license, you can avail to some of our premium features and scan large repositories up to 1M.

Suppose, your existing license consist of Free plan (where you can scan up to 20K lines of code only) and now you want to upgrade to Premium plan then you can choose to upgrade anytime. By upgrading to Premium plan, you can opt up to 1M lines of code - where you can scan large repositories.

In case, your existing license consist of Premium plan with 50K lines of code and now you encountered that one of your repository contains more than 50K lines of code then you can choose to modify anytime. By modifying your existing plan, you can opt up to 1M lines of code - where you can scan large repositories.

We consider ELOC while calculating the LOC limit.

Further, the user will be notified via email when the scan fails due to the LOC limit exceeded.

Downgrade license

To downgrade your license from Premium to Free, go to Administration tab and find License section.

Once you upgrade your license to Premium plan, you subscription will be active and auto renewed until you opt to cancel it. To stop auto renewals you can simply opt to downgrade license. This will take effect not immediately but upon next billing date.

Delete the account

To delete your account, go to Profile section and find Delete account button at the bottom.

Deleting an account is a permanent action for cloud users. In order to delete you account, you need to first ensure you delete all your organization(s) under your account. Note that, the delete button is enabled only when your organization(s) are deleted.
